An Interview with Eleanor Stanford
Please check out an interview I did with poet Eleanor Stanford for Literary Mama. We discuss her book of poetry, The Book of Sleep, the challenges and the sometimes surprisingly positive effects of mothering and writing, and her plans for the future.

An Interview with...Me!
How exciting is this? An editor and blogger I met through Literary Mama, Jessica DeVoe Riley, interviewed me as a part of the celebration of National Poetry Month! We talked about writing, editing, and publishing poetry, as well as the glories and problems of living in New Orleans. I tried to offer what bit of advice I could to anyone interested in doing what I do (or, as it feels most days, what I'm trying to do).
Many thanks to Jessica for her thought-provoking questions!

Happy National Poetry Month!
Check out a mini-roundup I wrote for National Poetry Month on Literary Mama. I love to read and review books of poetry, and I hope to write more about the two books mentioned here: Beth Ann Fennelly's Unmentionables and Marie Howe's The Kingdom of Ordinary Time. For now, this is just a taste!
